Tchoupitoulas St. in New Orleans:
2009; A repeat client for whom we constructed an addition prior to Katrina. The front
portion of the house was not remodeled/repaired during the last project, so this time around we
repaired the front bedrooms and hallway in this historical N.O. home. Plaster
wall/ceiling repairs, new picture molding, installation of a double-hung window,
sanding of millwork, and blown-in insulation. It was good to see you again
Robert!!

Broad Place in New Orleans:
2009; A complete bathroom demo and remodel. This remodel completely changed the floorplan of this older historical New Orleans home. The old claw-foot tub
was replaced with a large walk-in shower, both the toilet and the vanity were
replaced and relocated, bead-board wainscot and chair-rail was
installed on the walls, and new tile flooring. A door leading into an adjacent
room was also closed-in, leaving additional wall-space for the new shower. Great
job Walter, Ferris, Jimmy, Mr. Ed, and Jessie!!
|
 |
St. Phillip St. in New Orleans:
2009; Another custom-built entertainment center and massive bookcase brought this
clients dream to reality. This historical uptown home had the perfect room to
accommodate such a millwork masterpiece. The design was created by the homeowner
and PCS carpenter "Walter Godfrey" made it a reality with his unprecedented
craftsmanship. Such a masterpiece required quality prep and painting, so thanks
to PCS painters "Mike and Byron Ramirez" for supplying just that, to achieve a
beautiful piece of furniture!!

S. Peters Condo in The Warehouse
District: 2009; This Condo buyer wanted a complete new
look and updated features added to their new purchase. Located in one of
Downtown New Orleans most prestigious Condo's in the Warehouse District, PCS was
right at home with this interior remodel project. With historic and upscale
interior renovations/restorations being one of PCS's forte's, we were excited
about helping this new owner achieve their goals in making this Condo their
unique home. The remodel included the installation of massive double crown
molding, new solid wood four-panel interior doors, new hardware, kitchen gut and
remodel, two bathroom gut and remodels, new electrical fixtures, new plumbing

Frankfort St. in Lake Terrace
Subdivision N.O.: 2009; Another complete storm
restoration project. A beautiful corner house in a very prestigious neighborhood
just off of Robert E. Lee toward the lake. About 16" of standing water did a
number on the first floor of this clients home. With beautiful interior woodwork
at stake, we refurbished as much as possible vs. replacement. The
whirlpool/sauna wing of this property was well worth restoration (the cypress
and cedar was easily salvaged). The back yard pool was the first item of
attention; pumped-out, cleaned-out, pressure washed, and put back into operation
with temporary power as soon as possible. 80% of the downstairs drywall was
replaced, along with insulation, cabinets, vanities, doors, trim, and of
course all flooring. All downstairs electrical, plumbing, and HVAC was repaired
and put back into service with all new fixtures. The entire downstairs was
painted and/or stained/varnished as needed.

 |
Poinsettia Dr. in Metairie:
2009; This client came to us as a direct referral from one of our favorite repeat
clients. The homeowner had his home raised 2' prior to us constructing a
side addition, stucco underskirt, new plumbing drains, new laundry room,
brickwork, hardi soffit & fascia, new gutters, interior renovations, side porch,
front steps, exterior painting, and a beautiful rear deck for entertainment.
|
 |
Lake Arrowhead in Stonebridge:
2009; A first-time homeowner couple had purchased this beautiful home, but it needed
some TLC. Many needed repairs and some facelift renovations made this happy
couple's new house their home. This project was financed by our good friends at
"Wells Fargo", who by the way, are looking for qualified homeowners who need
home improvement loans. PCS has joined together with Wells Fargo's special "Home
Improvement" division to supply our clients with low interest and easy
attainable renovation loans.

 |
Weyer St. in Gretna:
2009; A terrific repeat client of PCS. We have already constructed a rear room
addition and installed a coal-burning fireplace/historic mantle, custom cabinets
& bookshelves for this client. But now they decided it was time for their
kitchen to get a face-lift and their wood flooring to get re-finished. New
cabinets, new counter tops, some new appliances, new plumbing fixtures, and new
lighting. Thanks for the business (again) Kellie &
Mark, your great clients!!
|
 |
Wanda Lynn Dr. in Metairie:
2009; This client has been one of those unfortunate homeowners who has been victims of
an unscrupulous contractor. Their walk-in shower was in shambles!! This project
included removing everything, even some wall studs. A custom shower was
constructed including new wall studs, hardibacker wallboard, a custom mud-pan,
beautiful wall and floor tile, two rain-heads (with multiple inner-directional
heads), a hand-held sprayer, body sprays, and new valves. The plumbing was
completely re-ran from a 3/4" line penetrating from the slab.
Thanks to Jessie and his crew for a great tile job!

Doyle Ct. in New Orleans East:
2009; Another complete Katrina storm restoration for a family who was
ready to move back home! This family has patiently been waiting and living in
Texas until their "Road Home" closing. Now with the funds needed to rebuild,
this project started in January 2009 and reached substantial completion in May
2009. This is a nice two story home at the end of a cul-de-sac, so it was well
worth restoration. With about 36" of water, the downstairs was 90% gutted but
the upstairs had only about 10% damage. The project consisted of; Mold
Remediation, minor interior wall alterations (to create an audio/video room and
a larger kitchen), new insulation, new drywall, painting, new cabinets/vanities,
new plumbing/electrical fixtures & appliances, all plumbing & electrical
repaired and put back into service, new doors & millwork, and of course all new
flooring. The upstairs received a complete master bathroom remodel and some
flooring and ceiling repairs at the top of the hallway. Exterior repairs will
consist of roof, siding, and soffit/fascia repairs. This was a great family and
an exciting project to undertake.

 |
Lafay St. in New Orleans:
2009; PHASE ONE: A complete Katrina storm restoration and renovation. We designed a new floor-plan that
provided an updated lay-out creating more kitchen area, a huge laundry room, and an
open family room. The installation of an enclosed patio/sunroom added an
extra area for relaxation and that much needed morning cup of coffee.
Applying stucco to the front added to the curb-appeal of the home. PHASE TWO:
Construction of a 700 sf addition consisting of an awesome master suite added to
the side of this restored home gave the homeowner the much needed space of
their own. Consisting of a large master bedroom, a master bath with a whirlpool
tub - a custom shower - an isolated water closet - a linen closet - and a double
vanity area, and two large walk-in closets, this addition added a great deal
of value to this home! Thanks for choosing PCS to help get you back home.
GREAT CLIENTS AND A JOY TO WORK FOR!! WELCOME HOME
WILSONS!!!

 |
Jefferson Heights Ave. in
Jefferson: 2009; This project had two phases. The first
phase was to address and correct lots of termite damage on an old rear addition.
Phase two consisted of completely renovating the kitchen & Den, and adding a
rear addition consisting of a bath/laundry room and back screened porch. The
rear roof was also removed and re-constructed to continue the original roofline.
Thanks for choosing PCS Don & Nancy, we enjoyed working on your home!
|
 |
Weyer St. in Gretna:
2009; A repeat client of PCS. We added a rear addition to this property in 2004. This
project consists of a custom built-in fireplace and entertainment center with
bookcases. 12' wide by 10' tall, this unit has a 60" center ventless
firebox section with an old New Orleans restored double mantle surrounding it.
Two 36" base cabinets on each side of the fireplace with shelving units on top,
towering to the ceiling, with crown molding and surface-mounted lighting. The
entire unit was painted to match the homes existing millwork. This is a
beautiful and useful addition to the clients home (not to mention a great
investment for future re-sell value). Thanks for being great clients Marc &
Kellie!! We look forward to renovating you kitchen this year.

 |
Barkley Estates in Jefferson
Parish: 2009; This was a great client to say the
least!! Wonderful people are such a pleasure to work for. A beautiful home, a
majestic back yard, and an inviting pool all deserve a unique Cabana. Designed
by PCS and the homeowner, this Pool Cabana is awesome! 14' X 18', cathedral
ceilings, stucco and roof to match the house, full bathroom, kitchenette area,
and a bar area for entertaining, WOW! We will definitely have photos of this one
coming soon to our "Photo Gallery" page.
|
 |
S. Turnbull Dr. in Metairie:
2009; This client just didn't have enough room for his growing family.
Unfortunately, with a small lot, it's hard to find a way to get the extra space
without an expensive second floor addition. Well, thanks to "Jason" (the
homeowner) and PCS's design-build capabilities, we came up with an affordable
side two-story carport/office addition that fit their need and budget. An open
carport underneath and a second floor office, which is accessible by an
exterior staircase. Total square
footage is approx. 600 (both floors).
|
 |
Lake Michael Ct. in Stonebridge:
2009; This project consisted of two bathroom renovations, new driveways,
sidewalks, and steps. The client just recently purchased the home and needed
some re-designing to make it fit their lifestyle and preference. The master bath
was totally gutted and redesigned, along with the master walk-in closet. All new
plumbing/electrical fixtures, new flooring, the addition of an extra half-bath,
custom tile-work, a large whirlpool tub with deck, and a custom shower with a
bench and frameless glass walls/door. We will try to get some of these photos on
the "Custom Bathroom" photo page.
|
 |
Julia St. in the Quarter:
2008; This newly purchased downtown Condo needed some personal touches. A
large sliding door unit (oriental style) was installed between the Den and the
Master Bedroom. The kitchen walls were re-configured to create more open areas
between the kitchen and the Den area. Granite bar tops were installed,
electrical wiring re-ran/moved, and some pendant lights installed. We had fun
helping you make your new Condo your home "Stacey" (with a great view of the
city I might add).
|
 |
Marengo St. in uptown New Orleans:
2008; Just off of beautiful St. Charles Ave., this old historical
home needed some TLC. We completely renovated the kitchen, which included
utilizing the old existing solid wood cabinets by re-constructing/modifying
their design/lay-out, rebuilding the island, installing new solid-surface
counter-tops, installing a tile backsplash, a complete paint job, and
re-finishing the existing brick-paved flooring. Also, some leaning piers needed
to be corrected by adding new structurally sound piers and securing the sill
beam.
|
 |
Prytania St. in uptown New
Orleans: 2008; This upscale Condo owner had some miscellaneous items
around his newly restored Condo that needed completing and he said PCS was
the answer. A tile backsplash in the kitchen, entrance door
repairs/weather-stripping, and a custom copper awning are to name a few. Only
the best for a great "Green Wave" football coach!! GO TULANE!!!
|
 |
Arlene St. in Metairie:
2008; Both bathrooms in this clients home received an extreme make-over
(not at the same time of course). First, the guest bathroom got all new fixtures
(including the tub) and a new paint job. Second, the master bathroom was
renovated with a complete new floor-plan, that included the addition of a
whirlpool tub and a custom shower. A pocket door was installed as access from
the master bedroom to save wall space.
|
 |
Elmeer Ave. in Metairie:
2008; Kitchens are always one of PCS's specialties and this one was
no exception. Everything new, including the floor-plan. This clients existing
kitchen was just to small and congested, so we removed some walls, created a
large cased opening with decorative columns, installed new flooring, cabinets,
plumbing/electrical fixtures, appliances, and finished it all off with a new
paint job. Old outdated fur-downs definitely had to go! Under-cabinet lighting
and pendant lights over a new island along with some dimmers gave this new
kitchen a warm atmosphere.

glass doors), new vanity cabinets, new counter-tops, new under-mount sinks, new
tile flooring, new lighting, and of course a whole new paint job.
|
 |
Octavia St. in New Orleans: 2008;
A beautiful back yard deserves a beautiful backyard workshop. It's almost an
insult to call this a "Workshop", it's more like a Cabana used as a workshop. We
custom designed this structure especially with the homeowners hobbies and needs
in mind. This guy loves to work on old bicycles and yard ornaments, so now he
has his own "Hobby Workshop". 12' deep X 21' wide X 12' high with a
slightly slopped flat roof, hardi-plank siding, an interior loft with a ladder to
access for storage, a five foot wide X 8' high double solid-wood French entrance door,
two 3' X 6' single hung windows with operable shutters, a 4' front overhang with
decorative knee braces and recessed soffit lights, a 220 V. electrical panel
box, and even water supply, all on a structurally sound concrete slab. "This client
came to us as a direct referral from a project we just
completed off of Tchoupitoulas St."
|
 |

arrival. New drywall, millwork, painting, kitchen & bathroom renovations,
flooring, insulation, and electrical/plumbing trim-out was the basic
scope-of-work needed to bring this clients project to completion. This
client came to us as a referral from an existing customer. Thanks Ashley!!

Magnolia St. in Slidell: About a foot of water can really make life difficult
when you have five children and parents living with you (I don't think a Fema

Riviere in Metairie: This project was definitely one of my favorites.
This 40+ year old home was ready for a make-over. The entire house was gutted,
renovated, updated, and acquired an addition on the rear consisting of enlarging
the Den area and adding a master bedroom & bathroom. When our electrician (EEC
Electric) came to do the trim-out, he couldn't believe it was the same house.
This house was a true challenge and the customers were the greatest. Thank You
Ray & Desi !!
|
 |
General Diaz in Lakeview:
This old New Orleans style home still
looks the same in front, but received a two story addition in the rear which
consisted of a master bedroom & bathroom, a guest bedroom & bathroom, a large

entire existing house was gutted and renovated along with the new addition. This
project took approximately 8 months to complete.
|
 |
Kawanee in Metairie:
A whole house renovation and a two story addition in the rear made this home
more accommodating and enjoyable for the owner. Also included was a much longer
driveway with a covered carport area in the rear. A new kitchen in the existing
house, exposed columns, open floor-space and new flooring really updated
this older home. The two story addition in the rear accommodated a study/office,
master bedroom & bath, sitting room, powder room and a beautiful winding
staircase.
|

take a look at our residential photo page to view this customers
excellent taste in some custom "Vintage" face bowls and wall faucets.
|
 |
Metairie Ct/Lake Area: This two story sunroom addition replaced a one
story sunroom. The customer wanted "Windows with a view", and they got it. The
"Kolbe & Kolbe" windows were a chore to install, but were a perfect
choice for this application. These windows have a high wind resistance and are
all made out of low "E" (for reduced light and temperature penetration) and
tempered glass. I have to admit, I had fun lifting the 2nd story windows with a
30' Extend-a-Reach forklift (a big boys toy). This project also included a
custom made cabinets and some nice millwork around an old mantle
that the customer wanted installed. Photos of this project are an the
residential photo page also.

Cafe' Sbisa: In the French Quarter, this
restaurant now has more than just terrific food, it has beautiful renovated
restrooms!!. You can see a small view of these restrooms in our
Commercial photo album. The
stained six panel doors, solid slate vanity tops, and French Quarter Green
tile (accented with checker-board off white tiles) all work together for
a New Orleans style decor finish. Owner Charles Napoli was not only a terrific
customer, but did an excellent job designing this project. Thanks goes out to
PCS employees Bill Hollett, Montz Blair, and Ernest Maloid for a job well done.
I would also like to thank Danny and his installation crew from "The Floor
Store" in Gretna for a great job on the tile and vanity tops.

 |
Bellair Dr.: In Orleans Parish, just past
the Jefferson Parish line off Metairie Rd., this turned out to be a "Kodak
Moment". Please glance at our photos of these bathroom renovations at our
Photo Album page. The owner designed them herself and guided us through her
ideas that ultimately created bathrooms that should be displayed in a Home
magazine. Both bathrooms were completely gutted and replaced with; a whirlpool
tub with marble tile surround, a custom shower constructed from marble tile and
a glass surround, granite vanity tops with vintage sinks
and wall mounted faucets, new paint, and marble tile flooring. Thanks to all PCS
employees involved and our great sub's for a project that demanded "attention
to detail".

Elegant Illusions, Riverwalk
Mall: This commercial retail build-out
came as a surprise to us. The customer found our electrician through another
referral, and then our electrician referred them to us (who said networking
didn't work). We gutted out the previous tenants existing layout and worked off
of the prints supplied by the customers Architect to complete their proposed
floor plan. Elegant Illusions is a retail jewelry chain with another store in
the Quarter off of Bourbon St.. If your in the Riverwalk please stop by their
store and see what they have to offer (they custom make their own jewelry).
Thanks goes out to "Ernest Maloid", PCS Journeyman, for a job well done!! I will
try to take some photos of this project and place them within our
commercial
photo gallery for your viewing. Please read the appreciation letter
in our newsletter. Thanks Gavin!!
