Pontchartrain Contracting Services did an outstanding job on the total renovation of our 1898 home in Faubourg St. John.  Though our home needed renovation before Katrina, we had additional storm damage that required the gutting of many walls and all ceilings.  The renovation included the addition of a bath and a utility room, adding dual HVAC systems as well as converting two porches into living space and adding a rear deck. 

 The quality of the workmanship was excellent and our home was ready to move into in 5 months despite the unexpected problems of having to correct outside plumbing lines and adding all new gas due to leaks in the old gas pipes.  Harold Moreland was very responsive to all our concerns and presented wonderful solutions that incorporated the many features we wanted in the renovation.  We look forward to working again with PCS in the future when we are ready to renovate a basement apartment and some exterior components of the property.
